I am ah huge fan of Phantom of The Opera and have seen it 11 times. London, San Francisco and Las Vegas showings. Loved the original production from the 1980-2000 circa. Not a huge fan of the over simplified sets and cut scenes of the new version :-(

Heather and I decided it was time to get into the California back-country and started by choosing the Desolation Wilderness right outside of Tahoe. We love going there because most people are too dependent on technology and fire so not many folks venture out there. In the Desolation Wilderness, most tech does not work, and fires are illegal. A huge departure from our typical adventure! Heather gifted us tickets to see Metallica at the Rock’in Rio so we decided to explore the Strip and see what Vegas is all about. Turns out, its mostly about excess and vice. We had a blast.

I have been to Yosemite dozens of times over the years but this was the very first time for Heather and we had a blast...as usual. This was a unique trip because it was sunny one day and snowed the next! We were able to get some outstanding photos of from the valley, along the mist trail and to the base of Nevada falls.

Eagle River nature reserve a short drive out of anchorage and boasts some stunning vistas and fun hikes. Heather and I made several trips out there but this is about the one time we stayed in a Yurt and say the Norther Lights!

An epic adventure! Halibut Cove is a Kenai Peninsula Borough inAlaska. The population was 76 at the 2010 census, up from 35 in 2000. Originally a fishing village, Halibut Cove is now home to several artists and businesses. 

The Homer Spit is a geographical landmark located in Homer, Alaska on the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula. The spit is a 4.5-mile long piece of land jutting out into Kachemak Bay. The spit is also home to the Homer Boat Harbor.
