When I was 15 years old, my family hosted a Brazilian exchange student, Renato (Jr). We are so grateful to have been blessed with meeting him as we have become family over 20 years. After Jr left went home to Brazil, he married his girlfriend, Aline. Soon after, she gave birth to Izabella. Now, Bella is 19 years old and came to America to learn English in an immersion program…
Heather and I came to see Bella as often as we could and whisk her a way to adventures such as, Bodega Bay, Six Flags and San Francisco.
We walked for miles in the sand exploring the coast line and enjoying nature. We also explained “white people food” to Bella at a local diner. Tasteless, bland food.

The embarcadero is a fun place to visit such as the Exploratorium, Ferry Market and other restaurants.
