I have been to Yosemite dozens of times over the years but this was the very first time for Heather and we had a blast...as usual. This was a unique trip because it was sunny one day and snowed the next! We were able to get some outstanding photos of from the valley, along the mist trail and to the base of Nevada falls.

Day one bright and sunny...

normally slippery wet, now add ice

ascending the stairs to stairs to the top of vernal

a look back toward heather as i scale the side stair

my feet are soaked but I don't care

a good day for epic yosemite snow contrast

this was actually a very difficult hike, because snow

a rare view of nevada falls with snow

cold, wet and happy

getting to the point where its too slippery to scale
