Actually, a great place…we really liked the ahi poke, served on a bed of avocado and wonton chips. Drinks were ok, service pretty solid.
Clearly, the name was not creative but it is accurate.
Yikes. It’s not that Ozumo is a bad restaurant, it’s just that is unremarkable. Not only that, the sushi was very plain and they only had 6-7 options for rolls. They seemed to specialize mostly in sashimi and nigiri. Expensive as well. To be clear, the sushi was fresh but it was so flavorless that the price was unjustified and the experience was just blah.
They remolded the bridge years ago and the landscape of the city has only improved from it.
We enjoyed our time here. The wait is a bit long but worth the views and service. Food was also very well prepared and we will go back again. I suggest you try this when in SF. https://cliffhouse.com/
